SALUS technological aid is based on the innovative technology of natural cellulose fibre modification with the use of a PDDA polymer component, that has obtained antimicrobial properties. Why is it necessary to treat air conditioner?

  • Open the front panel of the split system indoor unit.
  • Carefully remove mesh air filters, rinse them with running water, allow to dry and then treat with SALUS. Do not wash SALUS off.
  • If possible, clean the fan, the drainage tank and all visible elements from dust and dirt with a wet cloth.
  • Treat the fan, drainage tank and heat exchanger with SALUS. Abundantly spray the solution over the entire surface of the heat exchanger, fan and drainage tank.
  • Install the air filters on their place.
  • Start the recirculation mode to remove moisture from the parts of the unit.
  • If possible, it is recommended to spray the solution near the air intake zone to make a complete bactericidal and antimicrobial purification of the entire system.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Before cleaning make sure that the equipment is disconnected from the power supply.
  • Handle all internal elements, parts of the plastic case very carefully, avoid damaging them.
  • Rinse the filters once a month. If there are additional pollution factors, rinse the filters once a week.
  • After rinsing the air filters under running water, it is advisable to dry them.
  • Do not wash off SALUS from the surface after treatment, do not wipe the surface with a cloth or napkin, do not use chlorine-based products and surfactants alongside SALUS.
  • To minimize contamination of the room around the air conditioner during its cleaning, a plastic wrap can be used.
